Our History

In the years before Rare Arts was founded, a few freelance artists and writers collaborated on nights and weekends to create a variety of media for a select number of clients as our schedules allowed. Business from these clients grew and word spread, so in 1999 Rare Arts Communications was formed. It was an immediate hit, with the team no longer working in the off-hours and now able to service more small businesses in the New York City area. Since then Rare Arts Communications has spun off into four distinct companies, able to handle just about any client's media needs.

New Ventures

In 2008 Rare Arts entered the book publishing industry with several new titles geared towards designers looking to create graphics for e-book devices. These devices are known for poor handling of graphics, however Rare Arts quickly overcame these limitations and shares with you step-by-step guides on how to do so. How We Work

Rare Arts is a Brooklyn-based small business comprised of six designers, web developers, writers, photographers, and videographers. We give each project our full attention and always meet or exceed your deadlines. Our motto, "If you're working, we're working!" is our way of saying that we respect how hard you work and understand the unusual hours a small business has to keep to stay running (especially a home-based business).

Methods of Payment

Rare Arts accepts all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), checks or money orders. We also accept PayPal. Checks may be subject to a wait period; use the contact link above for more details.
