Rare Arts Publishing is a new spin-off of Rare Arts Communications, specializing in book design, layout, and binding. We'll work with you to give you the look and feel you desire for your publication, and even print and bind it for you or prepare it for press.

Are you a writer looking to bypass the publishing houses and enter the world of electronic books? Rare Arts Publishing will lay out your ebook and prepare it for a variety of e-book readers such as the Amazon Kindle. Not familiar with the Kindle? Click the image below to learn more.

Rare Arts is particularly skilled at overcoming the graphical limitations of an "e-ink" device. If you own an Amazon Kindle and Adobe Photoshop (or another image editing software application such as the free GIMP) and would like to learn how to do this on your own, Rare Arts has an excellent new series of books on the subject.

The first in the series lays the foundation for the others, giving step-by-step instructions of what you need to do to prepare your graphics for the Kindle, hence the aptly named Graphics on the Kindle.

The second book focuses on a specific industry: COMICS. For years, comic book, comic strip, and graphic novel publishers have been trying to find a way to bring their works to the e-book community. The #1 limitation has been an inability to overcome the graphical limitations of e-book devices. In Formatting Graphics for the Kindle, we show you how to get around the limitations and bring a visually appealing work to the Kindle. And because we practice what we preach, the ENTIRE e-book is an E-COMIC.
